Cottage Cookies – More-ish Macadamia

Cottage Cookies - More-ish Macadamia

This is the second of Paradise’s ‘Cottage Cookies’ variety that I have tried. The last biscuits from them that I tried, the Triple Choc Temptation, were fairly poor. These on the other hand were a surprise considering the averageness of the Triple Choc’s.

The biscuits are a simple shortbread based biscuit, packed with butter and sugar. They are thin and light and golden and have small bits of Macadamia nut buried in them. Although there is not many of these little chunks of nut to be found, they do add a nice flavour change to the otherwise plain biscuit. The biscuits are perfect to be had with tea or coffee; their subtle flavours and large amount per pack lend them to be had with a warm beverage.

Overall these are the best biscuits that I have tried from Paradise. Although quite plain, they are very moreish and serve as a perfect addition to an afternoon or morning tea. With over twenty biscuits in the pack for around $2.50 they are a good buy. For a relatively basic biscuit I was amazed how much I liked them and I can recommend that you try them out.
