Smart Buy - Choc Chip Cookies
These biscuits are bad. They may be the cheapest, poorest biscuits that I have tried to date. They appear to just be a simple, small chocolate-chip cookie. There are lots of them in the 500g sack, probably more than anyone would ever want. The main problem with them is the biscuit material itself: it tastes awful.

The dough does not taste like dough should, the Coles cookies having a strange almond and coconut taste to them. They also crumble far too easily, to the point where when I opened up the bag every cookie was dusted in the remains of one of their fallen. This dryness of the biscuits also lead to my mouth drying up when eating them.

Undoubtedly the worst part of buying these biscuits is figuring out what to do with them after they have been opened. The family have eaten around them in the biscuit tin, leaving a large pile of Smart Buy cookies to be dealt with at a later date…

They are also excessively sweet, and the chocolate contained within is bad. These biscuits should not be bought. If you’re looking for some nice chocolate cookies the next time you go shopping try out Aldi’s Brownie Cookies or even Coles Chocolate Chip Cookies.
