Chocolate Koalas

Four Stars
Chocolate Koalas

Coles Chocolate Koalas are the supermarkets version of Arnott’s popular children biscuit, Teddy Bears. They are quite a good biscuit and definitely live up to the product that they are attempting to copy. As with the Teddy Bears the biscuit is shaped into an animal. Unlike Arnott’s, however, only one side of the Koala is covered in chocolate.

The Koalas biscuit is simple and plain. The only real flavour and sweetness comes from the chocolate backing. The main attraction of this biscuits is, of course, the shape. This product is aimed at children, or rather their parents. Even so the biscuit is still quite nice and the chocolate used is decent. I actually preferred the single side of chocolate compared with the Teddy Bears full covering.

I can recommend these biscuits. They are a very simple but good addition to Coles branded products. The price may be slightly more than many other biscuits of a similar products but these biscuits are worth it.
